PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rotating impossibility accompanying the bending phenomenon of a cartridge in a rotating device for a disk housed in the cartridge. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a disk table on which a disk rotatably received in a cartridge is mounted and which is rotated by a driving part, a fitting body arranged in the center of the disk table to absorb and support a clamping plate disposed in the center of the disk, and the drive shaft of the driving part inserted into a hole formed in the center of the disk table, the fitting body and the clamping plate and projected from the clamping plate by a predetermined length. Even when the cartridge is deformed, the cartridge comes into point-contact with the tip of the drive shaft to be kept apart from the clamping plate.
