PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing image information including an editing screen that allows producing image information by arranging representative images for a plurality of appropriate time points. SOLUTION: A device for producing image information using at least CG animations is provided. When a menu is selected from menus prepared for production of image information, as instructed by a user, generation information for generating the image information corresponding to the menu selected is read from a storage means and the image information is created using the generation information read. Representative images that represent the image information created are generated, arranged in chronological order, and displayed on a display means. Further, when one menu is selected from the menus for the displayed representative images as instructed by the user, the way the representative images are displayed is varied in sequence according to the generation information that corresponds to the menu selected.
