PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension supporting structure capable of restraining increase of compliance steer by restraining rotation of a cross member around an elastic supporting point at the time of turning a vehicle, etc. while securing input relaxing performance in the longitudinal and vertical directions. SOLUTION: This semi-trailing arm type suspension supporting structure has the cross member 2 extending in the car widthwise direction and elastically supported on the car body side and trailing arms 5a, 5b one ends of which are supported by the cross member 2 and the other ends of which are supported on the wheel side, and it is furnished with a lateral rod 1 one end of which is mounted on the car body side and extended in the car widthwise direction over a central line in the car widthwise direction and the other end of which is connected to the cross member 2.
