PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a common monitor by an occupant at a rear seat and an occupant at a front seat and to to ensure visibility of the monitor while reducing restriction to a position and attitude of the occupant in a cabin. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle display device moves the monitor 2 to a retreating position retreated into a box body 1 and a projection position projected to the outside of the box body 1 by moving monitor retaining members 11, 12 for retaining the monitor 2. Further, the monitor 2 is moved to a first position where a monitor display surface 2a can be visually recognized by the occupant at the rear seat and a second position visually recognizable by the occupant at the front seat by a movement mechanism. By such a constitution, it becomes possible that the common monitor 2 is utilized by the occupant at the rear seat and the occupant at the front seat and good visibility can be ensured while reducing restriction of attitude or the like of the occupant.
