PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorter for tea manufacture capable of preventing the clogging of tea leaves at a part where they are fed from a transport device to a metal detection sensor and smoothly thereby efficiently performing sorting. SOLUTION: The sorter for tea manufacture is constituted of the metal detection sensor, a guide plate provided above the metal detection sensor and a chute provided under the metal detection sensor and made freely reversible by an actuator.
