PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidery data processing apparatus to process the embroidery data for sewing an embroidery pattern by an embroidery apparatus and a recording medium to record an embroidery processing program with which, particularly, the embroidery data is divided for processing and a boundary part of the division can be beautifully sewn when the embroidery pattern is sewn. SOLUTION: When the stitch data 40 is divided into a first divided stitch data 41a and a second stitch data 41b on the basis of a division line 46, the bartack stitch data is constituted to be added to the points of a starting point 42a of the division sewing and a finishing point 42b of the division sewing of the divided stitch data 41 which are the needle points newly generated by the division.
