PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultured cell observation device capable of observing change of the cultured cells with lapse of time for a long term by keeping irradiation rate of a lamp to be proper, which rate is important in fluorometry of the cultured cells. SOLUTION: The cultured cell observation device B is for observing change of cultured cells with the lapse of time, which cells exist on a carrier 6 or in a solution, wherein the device comprises a light source 70 irradiating light on the cultured cells A, a photometric part 6a measuring intensity of the light irradiated on the cultured cells A, a detecting part 40 detecting reflected light reflected from the photometric part 6a, and an analyzing part 50 analyzing the intensity of the reflected light detected by the detecting part 40 to measure the intensity of the light irradiated by the light source 70.
