A RELAY HANDOVER METHOD IN TD-SCDMA MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The present invention provides a relay handover method in TD- SCDMA mobile communication system, the method including mobile terminal measuring, handover deciding and handover performing. The mobile terminal performs open loop power measurement and open loop synchronization measurement other than conventional parameters measurement. The system determines a target base station acceptable according to measurement report reported by the mobile terminal and starts handover performing procedure. The procedure includes the steps of the system sending physical channel reconfiguration command to the mobile terminal; establishing radio link between the mobile terminal and the target base station; the system sending same downlink data to the original base station and the target base station and receiving uplink data at the same time; the mobile terminal receiving downlink data of the original base station and sending uplink data to the target base station using transmitting advance amount and transmitting power calculated by open loop synchronization and open loop power measurement; the mobile terminal bidirectionally communicating with the target base station, and releasing the radio link between the mobile terminal and the original base station after the system receiving physical channel reconfiguration completing message of the mobile terminal.
