<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen which can be carried about also as an accessory by enabling a barrel length of the ball-point pen to be expanded and contracted and when used, can be handily used and conveniently used because the barrel is automatically elongated by taking off a cap when used. <P>SOLUTION: The ball-point pen core (40) is divided into the barrel (10) storing a pen core (40) and the cap (50), and further the barrel (10) is divided into a tip barrel (20) and a rear barrel (30) so that the pen core (40) can be elongated in an antenna type and stored. Simultaneously when a ball pen tip (41) is exposed ahead the tip barrel (30), a front cap (21) wherein a projection (22) to be caught is formed is fixed onto its outer peripheral surface. A rear cap (31) is fixed so that a back side of the rear barrel (30) is a hermetically sealed.
