<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet which is hardly wrinkled or made uneven before recording or in the course of recording, while having a feel like that of Japanese paper, and which is easy to handle and besides hardly wrinkled even when it is rolled up after recording. <P>SOLUTION: The recording sheet has a base 2 as a nonwoven fabric constituted mainly of synthetic fibers and an ink receiving layer 3 joined to one side of the base 2.
