<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record and output image data sent from a computer in response to a request from the side of an image processing apparatus that records and outputs the image data. <P>SOLUTION: A computer connected via an external I/F 118 is accessed, files managed by the computer are displayed on an LCD 109, and selected by a touch panel 111.
