GOLF CLUB HEAD, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head 10 which is thinner than the conventional one and thereby has the large degree of freedom of design.

SOLUTION: The golf club head 10 is constituted by mounting a clubface member 13 which forms a clubface to hit a golf ball, on a golf club head main body 11. The clubface member 13 is fixed by being inserted into the golf club head main body 11 along a direction parallel with the clubface. The gold club head main body 11 comprises: a main body side engagement part for restricting a mounting position by engagement with the clubface member 13; and a main body side fixing part for fixing the clubface member which is inserted in parallel with the clubface of the clubface member along the main body side engagement part. The clubface member 13 includes: a clubface side engagement part to be engaged with the main body side engagement part; and a clubface side fixing part for fixing the part itself in corporation with the main body side fixing part.
