<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a packing specification optimum for an article to be shipped. <P>SOLUTION: A packing specification determination system 10 comprises: an article information acquisition means for acquiring intrinsic information on an article to be shipped; a transport information acquisition means for acquiring, based on the intrinsic information on the article acquired by the article information acquisition means, transport information including a transport means and a transport route for the article matching the intrinsic information on the article and transport restriction conditions for the article matching the intrinsic information on the article and the transport information; a subsidiary packing material information acquisition means for acquiring information on a subsidiary packing material specification matching the intrinsic information on the article, the transport information and the transport restriction conditions; and a packing specification determination means for determining, based on the intrinsic information on the article, the transport information, the transport restriction conditions and the subsidiary packing material information, a packing specification for the article matching such a group of information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
