<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel waste heat recovery technique of scrubber waste water capable of sharply enhancing the performance of incineration equipment. <P>SOLUTION: Sludge is dehydrated by the aid of a coagulant by using a hydrator 1, the dehydrated sludge is dried by a drier 2, thereafter, the dried sludge is incinerated by an incinerator 3 and waste gas that occurs accompanying incineration is washed by allowing the waste gas to contact with washing liquid by using a scrubber 4. Therein, such an indirect thermal drier as to perform thermal drying through indirect heat exchange between the dehydrated sludge and a heat source is used as the drier 2 and hot water is produced by using the calorie of washing water which is let to be high temperature through the contact with waste gas by the scrubber 4. Further, in such a state that the inside of the drier 2 is evacuated by a vacuum pump 7 and an atmospheric pressure in the drier 2 is lowered, the produced hot water is supplied as a thermal source of the drier and the dehydrated sludge is dried up to the extent to cause self-combustion in the incinerator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
