<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting device for a water service pipe excellent in workability and watertightness after installation work and capable of preventing electric erosion and promoting cost cut. <P>SOLUTION: In connection of a pipe body 3a, an insulating member 22 is fixed by outer-fitting the insulating member 22 to an end part side of the pipe body 3a and a fitting member 24 screwed with a mating pipe member 7 is assembled via an o-ring 23 of water expandable rubber in a manner capable of rotating in a peripheral direction. Thus, at the time of piping work, even in the case the pipe body 3a is in a fixed state, the fitting member 24 can be arranged by rotating in the peripheral direction and screwing and, after the piping installation work, the fitting member 24 is contact-bonded by water expansion of the o-ring 23 and rotation is automatically stopped and watertightness and electric erosion properties of the fitting member 24 are secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
