<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an automatic parking brake state with simple structure without consuming electric power. <P>SOLUTION: The parking brake state is obtained by advance actuation of a parking piston 24 in accordance with action of control hydraulic for parking. On the back of it, in a casing 23, a lock mechanism 25 is provided to mechanically lock the parking piston 24 at an advanced position for automatic lock actuation in accordance with advance actuation of the parking piston 24, and cancel the locking in accordance with action of control hydraulic for cancellation of parking. The lock mechanism 25 is disposed on the back of the parking piston 24, having an axial line perpendicular to the axial line of the parking piston 24. It includes a lock piston 30 to add energization force forward to the parking piston 24 at the time of advance actuation of the parking piston 24 at least.
