PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system, etc. which corrects distorted images so that a desired aspect ratio is reached.

SOLUTION: The projector is composed of an image projector 190 for projecting an image on a rectangular screen through a liquid crystal panel, a position adjusting information generator 140 for generating position adjusting information based on the position adjustment of the image by a user, a correcting information generator 120 for generating position correcting information for correcting the positions of the four corners of the image on the screen based on the position adjusting information, and a corrector 130 for correcting image information for projecting the image based on the position correcting information.
