VEHICULAR PEDAL SUPPORTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular pedal supporting structure capable of certainly and forcibly displacing a pedal to a vehicular front side.

SOLUTION: The vehicular pedal supporting structure 30 rockably supporting a pedal device 34 to a pedal bracket 38, comprises a vehicle body side reinforcing member 14; upper pedal members 44, 46; a lower pedal member 48 equipped with a pedal 48c; an abutting member 50 equipped with an abutting portion 50g; and a coupling mechanism 60 coupling the abutting member and the lower pedal member so as not to relatively displace under normal conditions, making the abutting member abut on the vehicle body side reinforcing member at the time of collision, and forcibly displacing a part 48b lower than a rocking shaft of the lower pedal member to a vehicle body front side in regard to the upper pedal members. The abutting member and the vehicle side reinforcing member are equipped with a pry force suppressing means for suppressing pry force generated on the abutting member caused when both members abut on each other at the time of the collision and preventing the pry force from acting on the coupling mechanism.
