PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arithmetic element tile which are connected in a two-dimensional array form and can alter a construction of a hardware, arithmetic unit including a plurality of the arithmetic element tiles, and a manufacturing method of the arithmetic unit. SOLUTION: Data transmission-reception with other arithmetic element tiles is switched by providing input/output terminals P1 to P4 on a side face of the arithmetic element tile 100 and setting state variables S1 to S4. A multiswitch part 10 selects three data from inputted data to output the selected data to an arithmetic part 20 in accordance with settings of state variables U, A, B and C. The data operated by the arithmetic part 20 are delayed for a delay time in accordance with a setting of a state variable S5 and is outputted via an output terminal P5 or the input/output terminals P1 to P4.
