PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of dispensing with an exclusive container and an exclusive heater for generating steam, improving the cleaning workability of the container generating steam, and easily generating steam. SOLUTION: This heating cooker comprises a heating chamber 2 loading a cooked object, a tank 8 mounted at an upper part of a top face 2a of the heating chamber for storing the water, a steam generation square pan 6 mounted in the heating chamber 2 for supplying the water from the tank 8, a pipe 12 for guiding the water from the tank 8 to the steam generation square pan 6, a heater 9 for heating the inside of the heating chamber 2, a convection heater 15 and a magnetron 19, and the water is supplied to the steam generation square pan 6 from the pipe 12 in a state that the steam generation square pan 6 is mounted on a specific position in the heating chamber 2.
