PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive austenitic heat resistant cast steel which has satisfactory castability while securing the high temperature strength and oxidation resistance equal to or above those of SCH21, and to provide an exhaust system component obtained by using the same. SOLUTION: The inexpensive austenitic heat resistant cast steel having the satisfactory castability, high temperature strength and oxidation resistance has a composition comprising, by mass %, 0.20 to 0.50% C, 1.0 to 2.0% Si, 0.2 to 2.0% Mn, 8.0 to 12.0% Ni, 18.0 to 23.0% Cr and 0.02 to 0.08% N, and containing 0.6 to 1.0% Al, 0.02 to 0.10% Zr, and 0.001 to 0.05% B, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
