PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trap tube and a method for measuring organic volatile matter capable of accurately measuring even intensively adsorptive organic volatile matter which volatilizes from a test piece. SOLUTION: The trap tube 10 is a tubular body, divided into a primary trap tube 12 and a secondary collecting tube 14, and connected to each other by a connector 32. A gas supply valve 16 is mounted to an upper end opening of the primary trap tube 12, and a test piece housing part 20 housing the test piece 18; an adsorption part 22; and an air flow guide member 24 are arranged downstream form it. A scavenger filling part 36 is arranged in the secondary trap tube 14, and a gas discharge valve 40 is mounted to its lower end opening. The primary trap tube 12 and the secondary trap tube 14 can be each independently mounted to a thermal desorption part of a thermal desorption gas chromatograph. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
