PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visor for an automobile with reduced manufacturing cost by dispensing with a coating process. SOLUTION: The visor 1a comprises a visor body 20 composed of a visor element 3 formed like a long belt along an upper side part of a window frame 10 and a collar body 2 provided continuously along an upper end fringe of the visor element 3. In the visor body 20, an upper part (upper visor element 3a) of the visor element 3 is formed to be thicker than a lower part (lower visor element 3b) through a boundary 5 provided to have a predetermined space T from the upper end fringe of the visor element 3, which means that the upper visor element 3a is formed to be 1.5 times as thick as the lower visor element 3b. Then, the boundary 5 is formed to be in a staircase pattern by a step generated from the differential of the plate thickness between the upper/lower visor elements 3a, 3b.
