PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can prevent disorder of printing images as a result of meandering of an endless belt, can save a printer head for printing a mark, can be made compact, and can reduce manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: Printer heads are moved on the basis of differences between elements at a mutually corresponding time of time series data of a width direction position of a left end part of the endless belt which passes the vicinity of the printer head of the uppermost stream side, and time series data of the width direction position of the left end part of the endless belt which passes the vicinity of the printer head of the downstream side (step S103).
