PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion water production apparatus wherein the whole surface of an electrolytic cell is washed by being filled with sufficient water when washed in reverse voltage, having a simple constitution using not only a solenoid valve opened/closed by being controlled by a control signal but using a check valve, further usable without replacing an addition cylinder with an optimum constitution by minimizing the number of components. SOLUTION: In this apparatus, the solenoid valve 63 is disposed on a water discharge channel 82, an electrolytic cell channel 83 is connected to the water discharge channel 82 on the upstream of a position provided with the solenoid valve 63. Furthermore, on the connection part or the electrolytic cell channel 83, the check valve 65 preventing water from passing in the discharge port direction in passing water is provided. The check valve 65 allows water to pass when the water pressure is provided in passing water, on the contrary, does not allow the water to pass when no water pressure is provided.
