PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production of sugar solution easily separating and collecting sugar solution from starch based waste without using complicated apparatus and to provide sugar solution producing apparatus. SOLUTION: The method comprises a hydrolysis process producing enzymatic decomposition product by using a hydrolase such as amylase, etc., onto the starch based food waste comprising bread crumbs and residual food of noodles, etc., and a sugar solution separating process comprising decantation of the enzymatic decomposition product.
