PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taste-improving agent for tea beverage, which reduces astringency in tea beverage, imparts body taste to the beverage, and makes tea easy to drink. SOLUTION: The taste-improving agent for tea beverage comprises a stevia extract, or a stevia extract with aα-glycosylated glucose, which is obtained by acting a glucose transferase on the stevia extract to subject glucose toα-glucosyl transfer, and regulating a chain length of the glucose viaα-glucosidase or amylase.
