There is provided a content reproduction terminal which can be transformed between a general-purpose terminal and a member-dedicated terminal. The content reproduction terminal (30a) includes: an IC card slot into which a card (20a) distributed to a member user is inserted; an application/display data acquisition unit (304a) for setting the operation mode according to a membership card (2020) indicating the group to which the user held in the card (20a) belongs; a resident play application execution unit (305a) and a member player application execution unit (308a) for reproducing the content in different modes according to the setting result of the application/display data acquisition unit (304a).
