<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photochemical reaction device capable of highly efficiently making reaction molecules in a liquid react by photochemistry and a photochemical reaction method using the photochemical reaction device. <P>SOLUTION: The photochemical reaction device possesses a fine reaction flow passage 21 allowing a liquid containing reaction molecules to pass through, and is provided with a reactor 11 formed of a light transmittance material and a light irradiation device 23 irradiating the reaction flow passage 21 with light, and is constituted of a passage diameter of the reaction flow passage 21 of 10-2,000μm.
