<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for creating compressed data from various image data in a process for creating printed matter, and precisely and efficiently creating a proof sheet having the same color reproduction as printer printed matter from a close location or a far location. <P>SOLUTION: In a digital prepress system; software for laying out an image and a character is used for creating digital data before compression, an RIP (raster image processor) is not used, the printed matter created by measuring from the same image is compared with the proof sheet for monitoring the compliance to fixed procedures created in advance, or the fixed procedures are executed, thus creating print proof sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
