DEVICE FOR EMBEDDING INFORMATION IN MEDIUM FOR PRINT, INFORMATION READER, AND MEDIUM HAVING INFORMATION EMBEDDED THEREIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device or the like which embeds large quantities of information in a medium for print without interfering with vision of persons and reads out large quantities of information embedded in the medium for print without interfering with vision of persons.

SOLUTION: A plurality of minute points are arranged on the medium for print to record information therein. The minute points include at least two kinds of minute points, namely, area prescribing points and information points. Information is expressed by positions of information points in an area prescribed by area prescribing points. Area prescribing points and information points are hardly visually obstructive because they have the same shape. An information reader distinguishes area prescribing points by using the fact that area prescribing points are arranged on the medium for print in accordance with a rule which is so determined that area prescribing points can be distinguished from the other kinds of points.
