PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operability of a motor by preventing interference between a pigtail and a cut groove at a brush holding section without increasing the size of the brush holding section and sustaining contact pressure between a brush and a commutator stably. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a motor 30 having a section 54 for holding a brush 44 and a section 60 for holding a pigtail 45 connected with the brush 44 on the holder surface 53A of a brush holder 33, the pigtail 45 standing upward from the pigtail holding section 60 perpendicularly to the holder surface 53A is turned down to the side of a brush holding section 54, and the turn-down part 45A of the pigtail 45 is wound around the arcuate surface of a shaping jig 70 and bent into a semi-arcuate shape.
