PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving quantity detecting device for accurately detecting moving quantity, while reducing the processing time between two frames constituting moving data. SOLUTION: Based on correlativeness between feature points extracted in two frames, a moving quantity detecting device defines the mutual feature points whose correlation property is high between those two frames as combinations (An, Bm) (a step 210), and calculates moving a quantity Vn between the feature points which are defined as the combinations (An, Bm) (a step 220), and calculates an error En between the feature points which are defined as the combinations (An, Bm), and defines the moving quantity Vn between the featured points of the combinations (An, Bm), whose error En is made minimum as the moving quantity between the two frames (steps 240 to 280).
