PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation and prevent a malicious operation and an erroneous operation such as altering a sales column of other company into that of its own company by limiting a management function to be input from an instruction input part (remote controller) only to a management function corresponding to a management purpose. SOLUTION: An automatic vending machine comprises an instruction input part for selectively executing any of a plurality of management functions provided in the vending machine; and a control part for executing any management function among the plurality of the management functions. The vending machine further comprises a determining part for reading a management code from an external storage medium with any of a plurality of management codes corresponding to a plurality of management functions stored thereon to determine it; and an input setting part for making the instruction input part capable of input instruction only for executions of the management functions corresponding to the stored management codes, based on the determination result from the determining part.
