PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth sampling device capable of easily and surely sampling earth existing in a desired depth position. SOLUTION: This earth sampling device 4 has a rod part 5, a thin shaft part 6, an auger 7, a cylindrical body 8, a pin 11, inclined faces 11a and 13a and an inward overhang part 14; and can be connected to a connecting rod of a Swedish sounding testing machine.
