PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorption board which exhibits excellent design when a decorative sheet is stuck thereto, and is produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: The sound obsorption board consists of a substrate which is formed into a plate by compressing mixed fibers including main fibers and low-melting fibers, and a surface material bonded to at least one of surfaces of the substrate, for accepting the decorative sheet to be stuck thereto. The mixed fibers have a mean fiber diameter of 10 to 64μm and a mean fiber length of 10 to 100 mm, and the substrate has a bulk density of 0.5×10<SP>5</SP>to 3.0×10<SP>5</SP>g/m<SP>3</SP>, and a thickness of 5 to 20 mm. Further the surface material consists of a spun-bonded nonwoven fabric formed of polyethylene terephthalate, and a surface layer formed of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, laminated on a surface of the nonwoven fabric.
