PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external blind which can be easily set outside a sash frame. SOLUTION: The external blind has a frame body 12 having rail portions 12a, 12b at the upper and lower edges, which are fitted in screen door rails 32 arranged outside the sash frame 30, a blind support body 16 arranged in the frame body 12, slats 20 supported by the blind support body 16 so as to shield the interior of the frame body 12 and carry out opening/closing operation, an operating code 26 operated to open/close the slats 20.
