PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find that dust enters in a manufacturing line of a factory in its early stage and to easily and simply remove dust even if the dust enters a liquid crystal panel side. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device 1, which is provided with with a front glass 5 arranged at a display opening part 2 of a surface panel 3, a liquid crystal panel 6 arranged on the reverse side of the front glass 5, and a panel holder 7 holding the liquid crystal panel 6, and is viewable of the display state of the liquid crystal panel 6 from outside through the front glass 5, the front glass 5 is fixed to the side of the panel holder 7 independently of the surface panel 3, the liquid crystal panel 6 is placed in a sealed state before a printed board 9 is assembled in the surface panel 3, and dust removing operation is carried out independently of the surface panel 3.
