PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving efficiency by sufficiently improving combustibility of pre-air-fuel-mixture for main combustion, while restricting pressure rise in a flow passage 42 for main combustion, in regard to a combustion device 60 to be used for a gas turbine engine and provided with the flow passage 42 for main combustion for letting the pre-air-fuel-mixture for main combustion flow out to a combustion unit 45 for main combustion and a flow passage 41 for pilot combustion for letting the pre-air-fuel-mixture for pilot combustion flow out to the combustion unit 45 for pilot combustion and formed with the flow passage 42 for pilot combustion inside an inner cylinder 2 and formed with the flow passage 42 for main combustion between the inner cylinder 2 and an outer cylinder 3 surrounding it. SOLUTION: A downstream side end of the outer cylinder 3 is positioned downstream of a downstream side end of the inner cylinder 2, and a flow passage shrinking part 10 for main combustion is provided to shrink cross sectional area of the flow passage 42 for main combustion in the downstream side end of the inner cylinder 2.
