PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase capable of reducing the cost for power consumption outside of business hours in accompany with circulating cold air while keeping a constant temperature in a storage chamber similarly as a business hour zone. SOLUTION: Cooling effect can be improved only by pulling out a movable top plate 16 forward at the close of business, and further a front face of an opening of the storage chamber 8 can be covered in a state of preventing the contact of commodities in the storage chamber 8 with a night cover 20, and the leakage of cold air to the outside of the storage chamber 8 can be prevented by pulling up the night cover 20 from a storing part 24 and engaging a locking tool 20a of the night cover 20 with a locking piece 23 of the movable top plate 16, thus the commodity cooling effect can be further improved, and the cost for power consumption in accompany with circulating the cold air can be reduced.
