PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fork of a motorcycle or the like capable of improving assemblability of a dust seal and a case cover. SOLUTION: In this front fork of the motorcycle or the like, the outside diameter of an annular main body part 91a of the dust seal 91 is formed to become such size that allows fitting in the inner periphery 80c of an opening part 80 of an outer tube with a clearance. An annular seal lip part 91d is formed on an inner side face in the axial direction of a collar part 91b of the dust seal 91, and the inside diameter of an annular mounting part 90a of the case cover 90 is formed to become such size that allows pressing-fitting in the outer periphery of the opening part 80 of the outer tube. A stopper part 90d locking an outer side face 91e in the axial direction of the collar part 91b of the dust seal 91 is formed in the case cover 90, and a dust seal case cover assembly body 81 integrated by pressing the dust seal 91 is formed at the inner periphery of the annular mounting part 90a of the case cover 90.
