PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of preventing lubricating oil from leaking out of a compressor, so called oil rise, and of effectively cooling a motor by suitably separating lubricating oil contained in delivery gas. SOLUTION: In a scroll compressor having a compression part 2 and the motor 3 driving the compression part arranged at an upper and a lower part in a hermetic vessel 1, having a space in the hermetic vessel divided into an upper space 11 of an upper part of the compression part, a middle space 3c provided with a delivery pipe formed between the compression part and the motor, and a lower space 3d provided with an oil reservoir 14 of lubricating oil supplied to the compression part, a partition plate 16 partitioning the middle space into a opening part side of the delivery pipe 10 and an inner side of the middle space is provided, a passage making gas delivered from the compression part and excess lubricating oil supplied to the compression part pass through the motor from an inner side of the partition plate and leading the same to the lower space and a passage 21 making gas flow out of the compressor from the delivery pipe along an inner wall of the hermetic vessel from the lower space are provided.
