PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cockroach repellent safe to human health and sustaining its repelling effect. SOLUTION: This cockroach repellent is obtained by diluting boric acid with water followed by adding fragrant grass or a fragrant into the aqueous solution. Specifically, the aqueous solution contains 1-3 wt.% of the boric acid and an equal amount of sodium bicarbonate and/or an appropriate amount of the fragrant grass or fragrant.
