PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly detect front collision and collision in which an impact load is exerted above lateral installing members such as a front bumper, a bumper reinforcement, etc. SOLUTION: This collision detection sensor arrangement structure of an automobile is furnished with a pair of front side frames 1 extended along the longitudinal direction on both left and right sides of a front part of a vehicle, the bumper reinforcement 2 laterally installed between front end parts of a pair of these front side frames 1 and a collision detection sensor 10 to detect collision of the vehicle. The front end parts on a pair of the front side frames 1 have brackets 4 of high rigidity fixed in a state to project above the bumper reinforcement 2.
