PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision judging device for vehicle which can accurately judge danger for the collision of a vehicle by a unique constitution of an impact sensing sensor. SOLUTION: This collision judging device for vehicle comprises a pre-crash sensor 12 which predicts the collision before a collision of a vehicle, a first impact sensing sensor 17 which is arranged at a specified location of the vehicle and has a narrow dynamic range, and a second impact sensing sensor 18 which is arranged in the vicinity of the first impact sensing sensor and has a wide dynamic range. The collision judging device for vehicle also comprises a switching means 21 which switches the first and second impact sensing sensors in response to a signal from the pre-crash sensor, and a collision judging section 23 which judges danger of the collision by the signal from the first or second impact sensing sensor selected by the switching means and transmits a driving signal to passenger protecting devices 25L and 25R.
