Test method for determining elastic characteristics of overlap connections subjected to shear force, by measuring relative movement of markings attached to joined parts

At least two joined parts are overlapped and joined with at least two connections, parallel to the overlapping surfaces and are subjected to a force to produce a shear loading. The relative movement of at least two markings attached to the two joined parts is measured and used to determine the force and distance data required for calculation of the elasticity characteristics for a single connection point. An independent claim is included for a test device.
