<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run capable of improving the stability of the position of door glass. <P>SOLUTION: The glass run 1 is attached to a sash disposed in the door of a vehicle. The glass run 1 is constituted by an extrusion molding section and a die molding section. Each molding section comprises a body section 13 formed of a base section 10 and side-wall sections 11 and 12, seal lips 14 and 15 for sealing the gap between it and the door glass G, and an expansion/contraction section 16 capable of expanding or contracting in the inward or outward direction of the vehicle in the base section 10. When the expansion/contraction section 16 is put into the contraction state, the whole region of a facing surface 10e of the end surface of the door glass G of the base section 10 becomes substantially flat, and comes into a state where the expansion/contraction section 16 is not exposed to the facing surface 10e side (inside of the body section 13) of the end surface of the door glass G. Therefore, in the state where glass run 1 is attached to the sash S, the expansion/contraction section 16 does not face the door glass G. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
