<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fine particle dispersion that has excellent discharge stability, dispersion stability and storage stability of dispersion and ink that has excellent printing properties and image fastness (water resistance, light resistance, scratch resistance and ozone resistance) after recording by using the fine particle dispersion and to provide an inkjet recording method for recording with excellent printing properties and image fastness (water resistance, light resistance, scratch resistance and ozone resistance) after recording by using the ink. <P>SOLUTION: In the fine particle dispersion in which a fine particle containing an oil-soluble compound and a hydrophobic polymer is dispersed into an aqueous medium, the fine particle is dispersed into the aqueous medium by using a surfactant, the surfactant is an anionic surfactant and its content is 0.5-30 mass % based on the fine particle.
