<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converting device that suppresses its upsizing, and that can control noise. <P>SOLUTION: This power converting device is provided with a noise filter 110 that receives a DC input voltage, an inverter 120 that receives the output of the noise filter 110 and generates an AC output voltage, and a converter 130 that receives the output of the noise filter 110 and generates a DC output voltage. The inverter 120 and the converter 130 are both arranged adjacent to the noise filter 110. This arrangement enables both distances between the noise filter 110 and the inverter 120, and between the noise filter 110 and the converter 130 to be shortened and noise that is picked up on each route can be suppressed. The noise filter 110 is shared by the inverter 120 and the converter 130, and shortened routes can downsize members 101a, 101b including electric wires and bus bars for connecting each portion so that cost reduction and miniaturization can be achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
