<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve a desired development property of an air bag by easily controlling a breaking order of a tear line. <P>SOLUTION: A hook part 44 of a case 14 is engaged with an engaging hole 40 of a cover 11, and the cover 11 is mounted on the case 14. A dimension of the engaging hole 40 is changed for each part, and dimensions La, Lb of a clearance on a lower side of the hook part 44 are larger in a periphery of a center part O than both end sides. In developing the air bag, a development pressure of the air bag is directly acted on the tear line 34 on the both end sides of the cover 11, the tear line 34 is broken promptly, and the air bag is inflated. Further, in the periphery of the center part O of the cover 11, a skin panel 31 of the cover 11 moves to a front side by the dimension La larger than the dimension Lb, and thus, a delay is occurred until the development pressure of the air bag acts on the tear line 34. and the air bag is inflated with a delay from the both end sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
